Kara Simsek 1 a.k.a. Turkish Rocky
Turkish cinema is known for its many ‘remakes’ of Western box-office successes. This one is better known as “Turkish Rocky” for obvious reasons. Oddly, the Turkish title “Kara Simsek” was also used for the “Knight Rider” TV series, perhaps explaining the numeral appended to the title of this movie. Serdar also starred in “Turkish Rambo”.
